About Eurogene
Eurogene Ai Services (Ireland) Ltd., commenced trading in 2000 following the union of Ai Services Ireland Ltd., a subsidiary of Ai Services NI Ltd. and the privately owned Eurogene, which was founded by four enthusiastic entrepreneurs in 1997.
March 2008 marked another milestone for Eurogene AiS as we forged a tighter bond with LIC Ireland Ltd., becoming the sole distributor of their New Zealand Product in the Irish Market.

About Us
Our Team

Ger Deely
Operations ManagerGer joined Eurogene in December 2016. Prior to this he spent over 25 years with the Defence Forces amassing considerable experience at home and overseas. As Operations Manager Ger is responsible for Operations, HR and Personnel Management, Budget Management, Health and Safety, Logistics & Training. He is a graduate of NUI Galway with a BA in Economics and from NUI Maynooth with an MA in Leadership, Management and Defence Studies.

Tom Baker
Business & Breeding Development ManagerTom Baker initially started out as a Breeding advisor with Ai-Services in 1992 when the Company was officially launched at that year’s National Ploughing Championship to distribute world class Dairy & beef genetics, within a few years, Tom was made responsible for sourcing the dairy product range whilst still running a dairy farm in North Cork. The opportunity to work full time in an industry that he loved came about in late 1999 when Tom was a part of the of the team that brought about the merger of Eurogene (EGI), Cahir & Ai-Services Ireland LTD. that was based in Stonyford, Co Kilkenny, Subsequently, Tom was given a senior management role in 2005 and over the past eighteen years, he has overseen all of the various mergers & acquisitions that has seen the company grow on to become a major force within the Irish Ai industry! Tom remains passionate about breeding & agriculture and is a former Chairman of the Cork Holstein Friesian Club & also served as Show Director of the “National Dairy Show” in Millstreet for 3 years, Tom & his family still run a pedigree Aberdeen Angus herd near Mitchelstown in North Cork and has a diploma in Business studies from the IPA in Dublin.

Larry Burke
General Manager IrelandLarry has worked in the agricultural area for over 30 years, progressing to join Eurogene AI in 2014. His practical experience with a Certificate in Farming and direct work as a Farm Manager in his early years in agriculture, gives Larry key insight into the on the ground demands and challenges facing those working in the industry. Larry has worked extensively in AI in Ireland for over 25 years, and has travelled internationally developing valuable sectoral knowledge and expertise. Alongside other successful personal business ventures, Larry has also worked as an independent breeding consultant. Larry joined Eurogene AI in 2014 as an Area Manager. He is now part of the Senior Management Team, employed as Territory Manager Ireland, with responsibility for sales and delivery of AI services nationwide.
